We would class the WoodLands Inn Hotel as a Budget Hotel in Bangkok or a Cheap Hotel in Bangkok, Ranking say 2 out of 5 (This is not a star rating). Having
stayed at the WoodLands Inn Hotel, Bangkok in early October 2007 for two nights.
An independent hotel about 40 Km from Bangkok International Airport, Only 500m from the Chao Praya River, owned and run as an ethnic Indian budget hotel with
75 guestrooms serviced by a lift to
the upper floors.
We received a warm and friendly welcome by the staff and management team. The hotel was clean but a bit tatty off a side street (Soi 32) with the main
entrance accessible at the untidy rear of offices and apartments used as their car parking. The side street is also home to a number of mobile street food
stalls.
The room we occupied was #305, an air-conditioned basic double room with en-suite shower-room / toilet with complimentary hand soap, on a bed and breakfast
basis. The double bed we had was firm and the bedding was clean and fresh.
Also in the room was Satellite TV with HBO (Home Box Office) channel and CNN 'Live' (Cable News Network), Refrigerator with 'mini bar'. The included
'American Breakfast' consisted of 1 fried (or omelette) egg, 2 slices of toast and coffee or tea! Lean fare we thought but got you started! Other breakfast
dishes are available to purchase.
The WoodLands Inn Hotel, Bangkok budget hotel is located on the east bank close to the west edge of the centre of downtown Bangkok under 2Km from the
Hualumphong International Central Railway Station, Bangkok and approximately 40 minutes from the new Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.

We would say the WoodLands Inn Hotel, Bangkok is suitable for Single Males, Couples, Backpackers, Budget Tourists, Large Groups.
The WoodLands Inn Hotel has an Indian Restaurant and bar adjacent to the Entrance Hall and lobby with low level seating.
We can recommend the cafe style restaurant that served basic Indian style cuisine at a reasonable price. The dishes we sampled were tasty, well cooked and of reasonable portion size with side sauce(s). Thai, Indian, (Vegetarian) South-Indian and Basic Intercontinental dishes. The vegetarian Indian 'Tali' is particularly good value!
Other facilities available were: Hotel safe, Child/Baby Cot/Crib, Chargeable Internet access via 2 computers off lobby, Room Service, Laundry service.
