Buddha: " Whenever you see things, just see. Whenever you listen, just listen. Whenever you know, just know."Thailand - Bangkok
Your first couple of hours in Bangkok are crucial to your enjoyment, so finding your feet as soon as you arrive is essential if not part of an organised package tour. The combined effect of the dirt, heat, humidity, noise, pollution, traffic, and just the look of Bangkok makes some visitors have an urge to leave the city almost as soon as they have arrived! Though this may be understandable to a degree, we think Bangkok has a lot to offer those who overcome this urge. The city dates from the late 1700s when it was decreed as the capital of Siam by King Rama I.
