The Bangkok SkyTrain or BTS runs through most of the newer parts of Bangkok and touches the old city.

Stations North and East are on the Sukhumvit Line

Stations South and West are on the Si Lom Line

The N (Northern Line) and E (Eastern Line) are served by the same trains travelling from N8 - Mo Chit in the north passing through the C (Central) interchange station - Siam to E9 - On Nut in the east. Likewise the W (Western Line) and S (Southern Line) are served by trains that pass through Siam between W1 - National Stadium to S6 - Saphan Taksin.
