Thailand has an individual traveler airport tax payable at all airports for both internal domestic flights and international departures. The domestic flight tariff is between 40 and 300 Baht and the international rate is 500 Baht per person (inclusive of VAT). The Airport Tax raises funds for airport construction and maintenance fees. You will receive a date stamped original tax invoice (passenger's coupon) that must be produced when requested by any official.
