Hua Hin Condo Property in Thailand
We have heard it said by more than one person in the
Hua Hin condo sales field - "If only we had enough condo units to sell" and after talking to Siam Property
in February 2008 we can say....
Hua Hin condos seem to have remained a popular choice for second property buyers in Thailand by a worldwide clientele as they are 'uncomplicated'; not just in the property ownership rights in Thailand but for physical security, ongoing maintenance, long term rental income possibilities and true investment potential.
We heard Siam Property say, they always have a fairly long list of waiting clients ready to purchase beachfront condos, especially in the Hua Hin area from the north, close to the airport right down to Khao Takiab, closely followed by condos in Cha-am. Koh Tao on the beachfront and even out of the towns in more mountainous and naturalistic locations.
New Hua Hin beachfront condos introduced on to the market in early 2007 were sold out in a matter of a few weeks and a new beachfront offering in Kao Tao introduced for 2008 is selling very fast. Hua Hin town centre condos have performed well too due to convenience of their location and good rental potential, some of it to long term foreign 'residents'.
Resale Hua Hin properties apart from beachfront condos went through a difficult period in 2007
due to the many new developments offering off-plan properties which made up 80% of all foreign sales. Siam Property recognised in 2007 that they needed to increase their resources to help existing property owners and investors who wished to sell.
A large percentage of current owners would like to take advantage of some of the exciting new Hua Hin condo developments that were not available at the time of their original purchase.
