Hua Hin Restaurant, Coco51 - Gourmet Food - Jazz and Ambiance
Coco51, a Hua Hin Restaurant by the sea, situated on
Soi 51 under the palm trees, off Nabkahaad Road, Hua Hin, Prachuabkirikhan 77110, Thailand.

We visited Coco51, the coolest Hua Hin Restaurant for alfresco dining under the palm trees by the Gulf of Siam in Hua Hin, during late February 2008 and found it to be a great place to eat and listen to jazz music - plus the sweet smell of Leelawadee.
If you haven't heard of Coco51 yet then it's about time you did, with live jazz, courtesy of 'Doctor Jazz', Mr. Sverre Bay and his friends, every night except Sunday.
Jazz meets a first class menu. It's hard to choose which you'll like best! Both are sure to put you 'In the mood'.
The discerning Hua Hin restaurant diner will be pleased with the first class Thai, Seafood and International menus created by Coco 51's local and international trained chefs.
Coco51 was established in 2006 at a really great location just outside the centre of Hua Hin where the sea breeze and the sound of the sea wafts off the Gulf of Siam. This Hua Hin restaurant has gained a reputation with local 'foodies' and visitors alike as one of 'the' places to wine and dine. With mouth-watering signature dishes like the duck magret with mango and chili salsa, char-grilled beef tenderloin, honey coated rack of lamb and rosemary and fresh locally caught tiger prawns fried and accompanied with a delicious tamarind sauce. You are sure to be pleased with whatever you choose, all at prices that won't break the bank!
Our starter of liver pate was presented beautifully and tasted great. The main dishes of beef stroganoff and wiener schnitzel were just brilliant too. We also sampled a variety of Thai 'tasters' including crab cakes, steamed sea bass, duck in pepper sauce, steamed shrimp with glass noodles, all of which were 'to die for'!
The discerning listener will love the live jazz music just powerful enough to make you feel like you're boarding the 'Chattanooga Choo-Choo' but subtle enough not to overpower your dinner conversation.
The evening we were at Coco51, guest saxophonist and singer Jorn Jornsen, from Denmark, complimented Doctor Jazz with a repertoire bristling with jazz classics. With a velvety sound reminiscent of 'Nat King Cole'.
Attended by Coco51's bright and efficient staff, you'll no doubt enjoy your visit as much as we did to this seaside Hua Hin Restaurant under the palms.
Open all day from 11.00, you can just relax on a sunny afternoon, with a cool drink and light snack or enjoy an evenings of fine food, wine, and great service.
With around a hundred covers outside, under the palms and stars, and a further fifty in the air-conditioned dining room you're sure to find the spot you like.
Coco51 tell us they can cater for corporate and large group reservations, business lunches or evening entertainment.
A great place to be during the Hua Hin Jazz Festival or any other time you please.
