The evening restaurant, Jeck Be-Ak is a second generation Thai Chinese family run concern, with efficient but friendly staff. The kitchens specialising in Thai food, especially sea food and soup sukiyaki style. Jeck Be-Ak is on the go every day in the evenings from six o'clock with the inside eating area closing at 9 PM. The Som Moo Joom (Som's Pork Hot-Pot) cafe is open from 0600 to around 1400 for Coffee and Thai breakfast. Although occupying the same premises and space they are two distinctly different businesses. Som Moo Joom from 0600 to 1400 and Jeck Be-Ak from 1800 to 2100. With around 80 covers, if when you get there and there appears to be a queue, don't worry, a table will come free every few minutes and it is well worth the wait! We tried to arrive early around opening time to avoid the prospect of a queue. You can't reserve a table, it's first come, first served. So get there first! During our stay in Hua Hin in January 2008 we became regular patrons of the 'no frills' cafe style, Jeck Be-Ak Restaurant, on the south east corner of Dechanuchit Road and Naeb-Khehars Road. 
reasonably priced. In keeping with the authenticity of this Thai style restaurant, we were pleased to see there was no 'European style' food, and chips or 'French fries' did not appear on the menu anywhere!
