Rotee Maker - Roti Maker The Roti or Rotee pancake available in Thailand is an unleavened bread-dough pancake or chapatti like food cooked on a slightly concave griddle, or in a large flat pan.

Rotee Maker - Roti Maker The roti maker takes a measured amount of dough and flattens it out on a board until an opaque dough disc, the roti skin, is formed about the size of a large dinner plate.

Then the roti skin is placed on the lightly oiled griddle and cooked until slightly brown. The roti is then turned and cooked on the other side. The roti maker then adds your choice of filling to the roti bread pancake. The cheapest sweet roti we sampled was one with a sugar and condensed milk filling - usually about 10 baht.
