Buddha: " Whenever you see things, just see. Whenever you listen, just listen. Whenever you know, just know."Thailand - The Thai Lunar CalendarThe Thai Lunar calendar is an ancient method of calculating the lunar months through the seasons of the year. The first lunar month begins in late November or early December. This time of year in Thailand is seen as the new year - The rains have finished and the weather has become cooler and drier. The ancient Thai's commenced their new month after the full moon but now the month is started after the new moon. The lunar month is divided into two parts. The first part is the period from the new moon to the full moon which is calculated as 15 days - This is called 'Khuen'. The second period is calculated from the day after the full moon to the day before the new moon, this lasts 14 to 15 days and is called 'Raem'.
