Buddha: " Whenever you see things, just see. Whenever you listen, just listen. Whenever you know, just know."Thailand - Surat Thani Province - Koh Samui
Koh Samui only has two seasons: The rainy season is from September to January when it is still warm and the dry season is February to August give or take a month either way for each season. There is a ring road that runs right round the island about 50 km in length. The ring road joins most of the main habitations. Koh Samui has been charming visitors to its shores since the early 1970's. The island people welcome the tourists and all that goes with them as this influx has boosted the island's economy many times over.
The best beaches are now developed with tourist hotels of every quality - Koh Samui visitor accommodation is available from 5 star luxury to backpacker beach huts. In Thai - Ko or Koh means island and you will probably find either in an islands name. Koh Samui or Ko Samui is quickly changing from a backpackers paradise to a property investors opportunity! With new hotels, apartments and high standard accommodation springing up everywhere. The most profitable business on the island at the moment must be the ready mixed concrete business!
There are other islands around Koh Samui. A couple of the misspells for Koh Samui are Koi Samui and Kho Samui but we have the Samui info for you here.
