Places to go and things to do on Koh Samui:
Big Buddha Monastery: The Big Buddha watches over Koh Samui and its people. The statue can just be seen from as far away as Bo Phut Beach, with the naked eye.
Buffalo Fighting:
Butterfly Garden: The Butterfly Garden on Koh Samui is situated in the south eastern area of the island
Crocodile Farm:The crocodile farm on Koh Samui is not the attraction it should be in our opinion.
Elephant Gate: The Elephant Gate is close to the Wat Kiri Wongkaram on the south west side of Koh Samui.
Elephant Trekking: The only Elephant trek area we saw on Koh Samui was at the Namuang Falls (No 2)
Game fishing:
Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks: on the south east coast, two rocks which have the natural form of male and female genitalia!
Koh Samui Airport: We think the airport is the most interesting airport as far as buildings go. With coconut palm thatched roofs.
Na Muang Waterfalls: On the southern slopes of the central mountains of Koh Samui are the Na Muang Waterfall 1 (one) and Na Muang Waterfall 2 (two)
