Places of note in Krabi town and its environs:

Khao Khanap Nam - Khao Khanap Nam are two 100 metre high hills that flank either side of the River Krabi are Krabi town's prominent landmarks. Visiting them requires a 15 minute ride on a long tailed boat from Chao Fa boat pier. Take the stairway up one of the hills to see the caves with stalactites and stalagmites.

A huge tigerTham Sua Kao Kaeo Ao Luk Tanu Monastery - Just 9km from Krabi town, Tam Sua or "Tiger Cave" is in Ban Tam Sua, Tambon Krabi Noy. The cave is so named as the result of the cave being occupied once by a huge tiger. The tiger's range covered the foothills of the Ao Luk Tanu Mountains - also known as Kao Kaeo. Inside the cave you can see 'impressions' of the tiger's paws. Around the monastery there is an interesting forested area and a museum containing prehistoric artifacts.

Other places will be added as we find out about them.
