There is also a collection of 'Rest of the World' stamps that will please any philatelist, as well as display cases of model post boxes, achievement awards and honours for excellence in design and presentation of stamps.
The library houses further displays of framed proof sets of stamps and memorabilia as well books in English and Thai about many subjects from around the philatelic world.
There is an opportunity to purchase a limited number of mint unused stamps not in current use at a slight premium, but we guess cheap by any standard as there is a cost only a few THB above the face value of the stamps available.

This postage stamp was issued by the Post and Telegraph Department to celebrate and commemorate the 40th anniversary of H.M.King Chulalongkorn's (Rama V's) accession to the throne. With 40 years on the throne, he had already reigned longer than all other Thai monarchs. The stamp features a picture of a statue of H.M. the King riding on a horse. The stamp was released on the 11th November 1908.

We visited the Sam Sen Nai Philatelic Museum in March 2008 and found a free to enter museum and library about the postal service of Thailand from its earliest beginnings on the 4th August 1853 to the present day - Including the history and evolution of the Thai postage stamp.
We thought that the museum offered an interesting look at Thailand's recent history through her definitive and commemorative stamps in a pleasant and user friendly atmosphere, with a Siam and Thailand stamp collection housed in large repository style, roll-out frames.
The museum houses some of Thailand's rarest stamps as well as wall mounted information and Thailand Postal Service ephemera, equipment and displays. The block of 6 stamps shown (left) are the bigest block of unused multiples of Plate #1 in exhistance. 
The ten 10 Baht stamps (left) were the postage to 'United Baltic Co Ltd, 158 Fenchurch Street, London EC3. 
We can recommend a visit here for anyone interested in finding out more about Thailand's postal history or philatilests and anyone else with an interest in Thailand's modern general history, particularly during the Chakri dynasty from H.M.King Buddha Yod-Pa the Great (Rama I) 1782 to date.
